I have heard so many people claim that the One God, Jesus name, Apostolic holiness message is a dying message, that the time is arising for men and women to leave their old ways behind to become relevant and emergent, tolerant of all beliefs, and to cease being so hardcore in the area of doctrine. They claim that the time has come to build bridges over to the trinity side of the divide and begin making compromises to becoming accepting of their doctrine, even to the point of denying our own. I have walked down this path, and while these Laodicean compromisers would have us believe that the trinity believers would accept us as brethren, I found out the hard way that they do not.
There is no compromising with the trinity religion on the issue of Jesus, just as there is no compromising with the modern Gnostics over His deity. God Himself has spoken in His Word the surety of who He is, that He is one God and one God only, manifested in the flesh to us as the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom the fullness of the Godhead dwells. Jesus Christ is God alone, and He alone is worthy of our praise. I believe and hold this, not because some man has taught it to me, but because I have read it in scripture and I believe what the Bible says. While some claim it in words, my doctrine and faith are indeed sola scriptura, rejecting the fallacies of false trinity doctrine, and holding fast to the precious One God Jesus name Apostolic faith with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.
When I was rejected by trinitarians over the issue of the Godhead and theology proper, I saw something. I saw the true nature of their spirit over their stances. While Laodicean compromisers believer we can fellowship with trinitarians and be tolerant over their beliefs, I know different. I know how they still have the smell of papal garments in their doctrine, how they continue to walk as children of Rome as we are now the children of the New Jerusalem. I see their spirit when it comes to denying the One God truth and defending their pagan trinity doctrine, their tritheism and polytheism. Their spirit is very murderous in this area, wanting to defend their unbiblical doctrine even to the point of wanting to draw blood with their words and attitudes.
I am reminded of John MacArthur, one of the better known trinity theologians in our time. Gary Reckart a while back posted the how John MacArthur had blasphemed the Holy Ghost, how he had claimed the tongues in the Corinthian church in the Bible were false and demonic. Do you think we can compromise, buy his books, listen to his sermons, and still be acceptable to the Lord by doing things as we gleam off of him? Can those who deny the Holy Ghost be accepted by God and we fellowship with them? Are we willing to allow these demon dogs to attack our Master and we still pat them on their heads?
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)
I have repented of trying to balance the light and darkness, trinity and oneness, and I thank the Lord Jesus for allowing me to see this truth. I openly confess that when I did this, it was indeed in the flesh and not of the Spirit. yes, I did receive the Holy Ghost under a trinity preacher, but that was amazing grace and mercy that God gave me to have His Spirit, and later to come out from that false doctrine. Jesus was saving me, and drawing me out. I have made quite a few sins (I quit calling them mistakes, and decided to call them what they truly are), and have with tears repented many a time. This time, even while I did hold to the truth, I did not do so in righteousness as I tried to compromise with the trinity religion. Never again will I allow myself to walk down the false primrose path to Hell like that again.
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. (Isaiah 35:4-10)
It is time to shake off any remnant of Laodicea. It is time to be Apostolics in doctrine, in power, in authority, and in lifestyle. It is time to shut off the valve of compromise that wants to flood the church and return back to the holy altar, the holy life, and to a holy doctrine. It is time for us as believers in Jesus who have taken His name and received His Spirit to walk in His truth without compromise. It is time to be as men and women of war, and understand the truth is too sacred and important to be compromising, thinking that we will be accepted by Jesus. He will not accept compromise. Let us walk in holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
